SILK PAINTING
In this fun and creative "cant-go-wrong" project, each student will create a unique little silk scarf. Resist lines are applied to the silk and resulting shapes are filled in with silk paints. Additional methods of manipulating the paint are demonstrated and used on scarves to add visual effects.
A 6" x 24" 100% silk scarf, professional silk paints and resist are included with materials. All tools needed will be available and the scarf is pre-stretched on a frame, ready to be painted.
The instructor will heat set the finished scarves, which will be ready to use in about an hour. These very popular little scarves are used not only around the neck but as headbands, on purses and recently spotted at "Ray @ Night" worn as watchbands for oversize watches.

Cost is $25.00 plus $25.00 materials fee.
