John Wismont began his career working at Disneyland, Anaheim California as a Watercolor portrait artist. He attained a place in the Guinness Book of World's Records (1978-1987) by painting over 45,000 watercolor portraits in a five year period and was named “The World's Most Prolific Portrait Painter"

He has also surpassed that number in doing caricature drawings at other theme parks such as Sea world, Lion Country Safari, and the world famous San Diego Zoo.

John holds a B.A. Degree in Illustration from (CSULB) California State University-Long Beach.
